Ain't no party like a letter-press party!

Yesterday I spent the morning at Porridge Papers in Lincoln. If you've not visited, go! Brooke can testify how cool it is. It is a dreamy place full of beautifully pressed wares for sale, handmade paper and all sorts of lovely goodness.

Anyway, Christopher (the owner) mentioned that he gives classes to whomever can round up a group of 2 or more interested person. It is $140 a person. You get to learn how to work an actual letterpresses (and possibly set type) and you get to bring home whatever you make-- something like 250 calling cards or 100 personal stationary notes. I think the class is about 4 hours long. Anyway, comment here if you'd like to spend some fun tax-return money on a really great morning in Lincoln with friends getting your craft on. I'll set it up.
