Dear crazy ladies,I am thinking of you night owl riders as you are about to set out in 5 minutes for the first annual Omaha Owl Ride. Nate and I saw some of the course marked this evening as we ran an errand. We are so disappointed to not be in the line-up with you this very second as I stand here and I type. Then again, it is still 87 degrees out right now with 83% humidity. Maybe we aren't THAT disappointed. He he.
Please Please tell me all about the adventure as soon as you climb out of bed tomorrow afternoon or early evening :-)

Alicia-- Even the the temp was off the charts hot, we had SOOO much fun. Started at 11 and rolled in around 1:30 or 2. Made a few stops-- at Pitch and FieldClub. We were crazy sweaty. Totally hoping they do it again next year. It was so fun to be out with 900ish riders all with flashing red lights roaming across the city. Fun!
ohhhh, ditto! wish i could've gone. hopefully by this time next year i have a bike!
super, super fun. i'd do it every month if they organized it! it was very, very hot and humid out--not sure i can think of too many occasions when i've sweated more--but it was really fun to see the city at night, while on a bicycle. sounds like there's an owl ride 2011 in the works. maybe we can get a team whocares together next year!
