Exciting day today around the Dyer house. I'm tired of changing diapers on my lovable but stubborn daughter. We're confining ourselves to the kitchen today, letting Ada run around in a dress sans diaper. Cupcakes awarded with every successful potty. Present awarded with successful #2.

hallelujah! :) potty training is just no fun. way to make it positive, cheryl! good luck!
tell me how it works with #2. finn is totally stubborn on that. pees almost always in the potty. poops, almost never. i feel like i've tried everything besides offering him an IPOD.
Cheryl, thanks for the update. I thought of your day today when I was starting mine in the shower this morning around 7a. I've been praying for positive break-through. I will keep praying.
Thanks! :)
P.S. Corrie, maybe you'll have to try the ipod...

thought of you and a. all day! it sounds like a successful party indeed, which i attribute to frosting on the reward cupcakes. and your studied air of nonchalance, of course. "use the potty, don't use the potty...makes no difference to me...but there are cupcakes if you do!"
sounds like quite the day! how'd the scoreboard turn out by day's end? the mid-day score seemed to indicate the verge of a breakthrough! congrats.
At 8pm last night:
7 potties in the potty
3 potties on the floor
All in all, a good score, I think. :)
nice job, Ada!!!
a better than 2 to 1 ratio of potties in the potty over potties on the floor. not bad at all. congrats on a successful venture!
