when i think about it, i become a librarian, shuffling through my dewey decimal cards of memories we've had together:
***that 25th birthday of mine at mark's. anne marie was in town from prague. darby was with us for a bit, stealing away to fetch andrew (first date?) from the airport. daphne was giggly and goofy. kate was there (wasn't that the year of her 1,000,000 birthday celebrations?) and saw some fellow doctors and they donated a generous amount of wine to our cause. darci, you were there too! it was one of the warmest nights in my heart.
***darby's crazy going away party. who could forget?! who could...recall...the long evening of great eats & great laughs, poetry, music, memories. aaah. glad you're "home", darby.
***hanging in the nook at the brazenhead. before the ban. a handful of evenings there that will always be in the hall of fame.
anyhow, i can't wait. i can't wait. i can't wait. mostly i can't wait to see this again:

my little gal annabelle loves to pull her socks up high. yesterday, after getting dressed & emerging from her bedroom with a smile on her face, violet said, "hey! those look like boots!".
