I've been eying this rug from CB2 for months and months now. It is finally on sale enough for me to snatch it up. However (and I mean a big however) it is white. And, I have kids. Am I crazy? Would you buy it if you were me?
i think it depends on where you're gonna put it. under the dining room table? then i woudln't. in the living room? sure! just stock up on some Nature's Miracle or Oxy Clean.
i could be wrong...but didn't you have white-cream seat covers on your dining room chairs? i think it was u. and you start each day giving yourself seven lashings for that....
but if it's not you that i am talking about...get the white rug. i knew something that had light carpet remnant put in their playroom and, afterward, remarks "why did we pick this cream carpet!"

um, both me. You're probably right... :)
I'm hopeful to a fault.
if it makes you happy.... it can't be that baaaaaaaaaaaaad...
do it. hide it in your bedroom and keep it selfishly for yourself until your children are old enough to drive. that's my advice.
that's a gorgeous rug. i want it too. i'm trying to picture it with orange food stains, and really, it's not SO bad.
HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?! HOW AM I THE PRACTICAL ONE IN THIS CONVERSATION?! I AM SPEECHLESS.
Ha ha!
Now I'm thinking Scotch-Guard. It couldn't really be THAT toxic, right??
If we let this conversation keep going, the rugs will be sold out and then I won't have to decide.
