Boo to all the ugly Valentines Day jewelry ads.

There are so many of them. I've also noticed an increase in K-Y ads, too. Valentines Day-- what a funny time. Comments anyone?

i KNOW. even libraries aren't immune. check out the lovely graphic from the creighton library page:http://reinert.creighton.edu/index.htm you might have to click refresh a bunch of times before you are treated to the lovely sheetmusic-heart-rose clip art graphic, but i was lucky enough to get it on the first try while doing some research. joy oh joy.

and say: reese, this is how you got here! oh, no, uh....

those K-Y commercials...i haven't seen 'em but the first time i heard about K-Y i was going to college in kentucky & thought it was a local thing. :) naive, i know.

now i know it's SPREAD OUT all across the nation. it's a national PASSION. it's WORKED UP so much hype.

haha.

i'm WAY behind in my blog reading...packing really interferes with my life in a big time way:(
i haven't seen the K-Y ad either. we must really be sheltered in this tiny town...i know kids aren't!
anyway, my conclusion from your question is that there are actually SOME people in the world that are moved sexually by jewelry. on huge occasions (like engagement, big anniversaries, etc.) i like some jewelry too, but for the most part, it is not a sexual turn-on for me. evidently, it must work for some people. who knew? :) m
