well versed in "i take that back"

usual pattern: i knock something i know very little about & end up with my foot in my mouth.

i went to my first MOPS meeting last friday morning and it was, of course, a lot of fun. i met some cool moms, my kids had a great time, & the speaker had a lot of great advice. i left the meeting thinking, "why am i such a dummy about things like this?".

For me, it was taking back the phrase I'd pridefully proclaimed for years..."I will NOT be a minivan mom!" Now...I wouldn't trade my Honda wonder for any other vehicle! Glad you enjoyed your MOPS meeting. What was your speaker topic? Our topic this morning was on birth order and it's effect on our personalities...quite interesting as I analyzed my siblings, myself, and my children!

the older you get, the more words you have to eat. just enjoy it:) i can't tell you how many things i said i would NEVER do when i got to be certain ages. when i did, i found out that there were a lot of factors i hadn't been aware of. just find a good flavor to dip those feet in b/c this is probably NOT the last time you'll be pulling them out of your mouth:) (unless you learn faster than i do.) m
