while we're talking kid stuff, i have to admit that i love violet's new stage in life: mommy is the best thing in the world stage. she shares her drink, toys, snacks, kisses with me generously. she runs to me when i come back into the room. this may be the most rewarding time in a baby's life, for the mama.

There is nothing like a boost of confidence from a loving kiddo. Nothing like hearing "I love you you, Mommy" completely unprompted.
