i had all the reasons in the world to be tired last night & still: no sleepy sleepy. for one thing, i'd been up since 4:45. second, in the late afternoon the exterior backside of our apartment caught on fire which was a very unexpected naptime thrill (no personal damage done: who knows how it started). i took some pictures which i'll post later.
so, on the couch watching leno & conan, trying to get the past few weeks out of my head, i remembered iowa city:
1. it'd be nice to have our lodging within walking distance of the little downtown area.
2. i will call each person by monday to make sure that you are still going. then we will have #s.
3. let's do all of our definite lodging arrangements via email.
how's that?
we're off to peoria this morning to see kate/julie. and since we're out of coffee, i'm going up to the mobile pantry (affectionately known: mobile panty) for some of their yummy cafe. enjoy saturday.

Staying within walking distance of the cutie-cute downtown sounds really fun.
yeah. i hate driving everywhere. that way, when i'm awake at 5am & everyone else wants to keep sleeping...it's coffee time!
