for the first time in months, i slept until 8:30. everyone was up & watching "america's funniest home videos." we started the morning with lots of laughter. i can't remember a better christmas eve start. ja surprised me and asked if we should each open a present! OF COURSE! annie got an ezra jack keats book. i got jason a pearl jam t-shirt. he got me a sufjan stevens t-shirt. i got out of the shower & annie was modeling my gift. she reminded me of alvin, simon, or theodore.

traitor? what? so you mean to say that you are actually planning to improve your hygene this year? hm?
yeah, i was curious about what the blue line guy was going to say too. probably it wouldn't live up to our expectations. but that was fun and funny.
glad you got to open a gift...stretch out the good times. i watched "emmet otter" this morning and made myself some fresh squeezed orange juice. it was nice. now i'm going to wrap presents.
