we used to do sweatin' to the oldies in gym class. ha. can you believe it? reminded of it today as i watched moise in the boys home do his calesthenics. it was great. i think he'd really love sweatin' to the oldies.
it's fabulous to be here in romania. and even more fab to be in an a/c internet cafe at the moment. dang it's hot here. my entire body is salty, even my lips. even more fabulous that cool air - caleb is sitting next to me typing typing typing...he might even be faster than me! i woke up three times last night with cockroaches crawling on me. i was sleeping int he kitchen at my rented place because it's cooler in there. i'd like to take a poll. would you rather be super hot or have bugs crawl on you?

now you can be all nasty and enjoy it. there's a reason: heat, sweat, bugs. romania is no place for a germaphobe. i'd prefer the heat...LOVE TO SWEAT. and one unrelated comment: i can't stand it when people say, "i don't sweat, i glisten" or something. blah.
funny you mention that, caron, because actually...you're not going to believe this... mer mer mer. just kidding...
i would also like to vote for the heat over the bugs. i hate cockroaches. before i moved out of my houes in arkansas, we were starting to have roaches show up. the first time i saw one (it was really early in the morning. i had gotten up to pee) i cussed and then looked about for something with which to kill the little monster. i knew then and there that it was time to move. i think i even said so to my no longer sleeping roommate.
Heat for sure. There is nothing worse than cockroaches - if you see one then you know there are a hundred more - NASTY!
I've had the same experience at my place in Cinci. - the second place I lived in was much better. I was outside one morning at 5 a.m. waiting for a cab to take me to CVG, and the sidewalk was moving....yup, those crafty little buggers.
